Its 2013! Have a fabulous year ahead everyone ! :)
This place has become somewhere where I peek in once every year.. Looks like I'm not getting any better with my time management issues. Or may be its just that Im just too lazy to write up anything.
Last year had been too hectic. And..I know this year is going to be far worse, with my final year exams and all. I just hope I have it in me to get through.

It has been a while that I posted something..Of course I didn’t know what to blog and have been bit busy off late..Even considered giving up blogging..But few of my friends asked me many times to keep on blogging..So I thought it’s about time that I wrote something here..
So here’s a quick update of what I’d been upto in the last few months..
--Finished my 2nd year at college with flying colours..**Despite all my pessimism :)) **
--Then been on a holiday trip to Malaysia for few weeks..
--Celebrated my B’day at home with my parents after 3 long years..Got lucky at long last.:) **Hemz did a lovely post on my b’day..You can read it here..Thanks a ton Hemz..:)) **
--Now on holidays and eagerly waiting for my 3rd year clinical attachments which would be commencing in Jan..
And..While I was away I received a few awards here from Saranya..At last I collected them..late as always..:P

**Today is the 5th anniversary of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami disaster..Let us all pray for the lost souls to rest in peace..**

My Parents celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on September 1st 2009. The above article is from a local newspaper (Virakesari). I wanted to write a post wishing my parents on their anniversary. Before getting to know hemz, I never believed in the virtual world friendship..I didn't understand how unknown people could get closer through internet..But hemz taught me how..he proved me that even in virtual world, you can find a true friend..

Its Christmas already.. I came back from home yesterday morning.
I had a great time in Colombo. Did lots of Shopping, visited my friends and been to movies. Had great fun! Didn't study anything at all though :(
Yesterday hadn't been a good day for me altogether..Had a pretty tough day. Firstly, the train which I traveled collided with an elephant on the way! Luckily for us, the train didn't derail from the tract. But very unfortunately the elephant died in the spot. It was a huge one. We were in the middle of a forest line and we had to wait many hours before the railway people turned up , moved the elephant out of the tract and repaired the railings. The accident happened at 1am in the morning and we were able to move again only at 5.30 am - More than 4 hours delay..On top of this, I'm having a bad head cold and fever since y'day. Maybe its because I traveled in an A/C compartment on a very frosty night. I feel bit better today, and hope I'll be fine soon.
Well its Christmas today..I'm sure this day will be better than the one I left behind. Hope everyone is having a nice time.
